The first signs of her decline was when she no longer wanted to go on walks.  It broke my heart, seeing her like this.  She was usually always so excited and happy to go on walks, and I sure loved going on them!  Then she was no longer able to control her bladder, and would always poop and pee all over the house.  She started forming lumps all over her body, and she could no longer hear us whenever we called to her.  Then, on June 2008, the doctor noticed a tumor near her heart, possibly cancerous, and sentenced Maggie to only about 6 months left to live.  It would turn out that Maggie would live almost a year over her due date.
